### SWOT
SWOT is a strategy planning school of recommendation paradigm used for corporate and business-level strategy.
SWOT consists of:
1. **Strength**: internal
2. **Weakness**: internal
3. **Opportunities**: external
4. **Threats**: external
One internal and one external factor can be combined to make an strategic path. e.g. ST (Strength, Threats), OW (Opportunities, Weakness)
One of the problems with SWOT is that we separate the external from the first as a unit that we can't change or modify at all.
#### Decision Flow
1. Find external/internal **variables**.
2. Design a **strategy** based on the variables.
3. Find the **goals** based on the designed strategy.

> Strategy planning often does not include what we *want* to do, but what we *don't want* to do.
- An strategic plan usually does not include *actions*. Alternatively, **action plan** focus on what to do usually within a time limit.
